At the recent North American IHE Connectathon in Cleveland, Sectra (STO: SECT B)  successfully completed testing of the IHE profiles MAMMO and DBT (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis). The testing was done using Sectra PACS which implements the Image Display and Image Manager actors of these profiles.

“Being a pioneer in implementing vendor neutral support for reading Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, it is a natural step for us as to adhere to new standards and technical frameworks. These test results confirm that our breast imaging solution is future proof and will be compliant also with modalities that implement support for this new profile,” says Anders Granlund, Product Manager for Sectra’s breast imaging solutions.
